I am a contemporary British painter living in a village on the Welsh borders in Herefordshire. I love walking and being outdoors in the landscape or by the sea. My paintings are expressions of the emotions I feel in a place. I don’t aim to represent a place but what it is like to be in such a place…. the cold of the wind, the warmth of the sun, the vastness of a view or moods of the sea.
